1. The short version

IDØ analyses publicly available information about the companies you choose to track. We never tell those companies they are being watched, and we never use a customer's competitive set to inform anyone else's. Your tracked list, your briefs, and your account details are yours.

2. What we collect from you

Account information you provide when you sign up — your name, email address, and authentication identifiers handled by our auth provider.

The competitive set you configure: the companies and sources you ask us to track.

Standard product telemetry — which pages you open and which briefs you read — used only to operate and improve the service.

3. What we collect about tracked companies

Only what is publicly available: a company's own website, careers page, changelog, blog, pricing page, public open-source activity, and public press. Every signal we store links back to its public source URL and a timestamp.

We do not collect private, gated, or personal data about individuals at those companies beyond what they themselves publish in a professional context.

4. How we use data

To produce your scores and your weekly brief, to operate your account, and to improve the engine. We do not sell your data. We do not share your tracked set with other customers.

5. Retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Public signals are retained to provide historical momentum and reception over time. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us and we will action it. Where applicable law gives you additional rights, we honour them.
