For venture investors

The competitor intelligence
layer for venture.

IDØ continuously watches what private companies actually do — shipping cadence, hiring waves, traffic, press, technical signals — and scores every move on a deterministic engine. Search any company, read a six-month execution report, see how it stacks up against its competition. Evidence-grounded. Read-only. Yours to interpret.

The product

Built for the firm that wants to be three weeks early, not three weeks late.

01 — Search any company

Type a name, a product, or a category.

Resolve any private company in the index, instantly. Filter by sector, stage, accelerator, geography. No login walls, no per-seat throttling — just intelligence retrieval at the speed of thought.

02 — Engine scores, not opinions

Speed × Effectiveness × Combat — every move, scored.

A deterministic engine ingests shipping cadence, hiring velocity, traffic, press and competitive moves. Each event becomes a numeric score with a citation. The LLM only summarises what the engine already saw — never the source of truth.

03 — Six-month report

What a company actually did, on one page.

For any company you look up: the most recent six months of execution, sectioned by signal type. Compare to baseline, see what moved the score, drill down to the source URL on any line.

04 — Competitor sets

Who else is running this race?

Every company page surfaces its closest competitive set by semantic + sector match. Compare execution side-by-side. Spot the leader, the laggard, and the dark horse without leaving the screen.

05 — Sector intelligence

See where private execution is concentrated.

Heatmaps by sector × stage × accelerator. Refreshed weekly. Spot a vertical heating up before it hits press, or a stage clogging up before the LP call.

06 — Read-only, by design

Look at anyone. Notify no one.

IDØ never tells a company you viewed it. No watchlists, no follows, no leaderboards of who's looking. Your research workflow stays inside your firewall.

How it works

Four steps. No LLM hallucinations in the loop.

Step 01

Search any private company.

Name, URL, product description, or category. The index resolves to the canonical company entity and surfaces its execution profile, scoring history, and competitive set.

Step 02

The engine has been watching, in the background.

Scrapers continuously hit each company's website, careers page, blog, GitHub, and public footprint. Every observable event is scored deterministically — no LLM hallucinations in the source path.

Step 03

Read the six-month execution report.

Every page contains a structured report: signals by category, score deltas, competitor benchmarks, raw event log. Trace any line back to its source URL in one click.

Step 04

Compare, decide, document.

Side-by-side compare with the competitive set. Export the report to PDF for IC. The platform never notifies the company — your research is yours alone.

Why this is different

Every score is deterministic — and traceable to a source.

Auditable.
Every number has a source

Each score breaks down into the exact features that produced it — recency, magnitude, cadence — and every event links to the public URL it came from. You can verify any line in ten seconds. We're honest about what isn't yet measured, too.

Deterministic.
No LLM in the source path

Every score traces back to a scraped event with a URL and timestamp. The LLM only summarises what the engine already recorded. You can verify any line in 10 seconds.

Discreet.
No tracking, ever

IDØ never tells a company you viewed it. No watchlists, no follows, no read receipts. Your search history stays on your side of the firewall. By design.

six-month profile: shipping cadence +62%, headcount +38%, press footprint +4 mentions
competitive set: 4 closest peers by sector + semantic match
notable moves: launched a paid tier · hired a VP Sales · open-sourced core engine
evidence: every line links to the underlying source URL

FAQ

Honest answers.

How is this different from PitchBook or Crunchbase?

Those are catalogues — they tell you what already happened. IDØ is an execution-signal layer — we tell you what's happening right now, deterministically scored, before it shows up in any database.

Why is the LLM not in the hot path?

Because LLM opinions in the source-of-truth path produce hallucinations you can't act on. Our engine is deterministic — every score traces back to a specific event with a URL and a timestamp. The LLM only writes the Friday digest.

How do you avoid LinkedIn scraping?

We don't scrape LinkedIn. Founders claim their own profile and choose what to expose. Where we use public LinkedIn data, it's via your firm's own authenticated session if you opt in — the platform never holds those credentials centrally.

What's the design-partner pilot?

14 days, free, full product access, with one onboarding call. Bring a list of companies you're researching. We commit to surfacing at least three signals you didn't already know. If we don't, you walk.

Will the company know I looked at it?

No. IDØ is intentionally read-only. There are no watchlists, follows, or view-receipts. Your research workflow leaves no footprint on the company's side. This is a deliberate product choice, not an oversight.

Book a working session with the founder. Bring a sector you're researching. Leave with three signals you didn't already know.
